On April 24th, as the first pair of twins born in the Panda Base in 2017, Zhi Shi and Zhi Ma celebrated their birthdays. Because of their early birth month, Zhi Shi and Zhi Ma were bigger than their younger siblings of the same age. While the siblings were still "lying down pandas," Zhi Shi and Zhi Ma had already begun to sit, crawl, and grow teeth. They had endless energy, loved to play and make fun, and even used sleeping siblings as pillows, causing them to moan and cry out in dissatisfaction.

    It is said that all the pandas in the Zhi family are descended from the God of War, with heavy eyebrows and big eyes, and they are magnificent. The two brothers, Zhi Shi and Zhi Ma, have indeed shown their vitality different from other pandas. Zhi Shi can wash his face upside down, and now he lives in Panda Valley, climbing trees and playing for fun. Zhi Ma, grew up to be the prototype of the mascot "Rong Bao" of the 31st Summer Universiade in Chengdu and continued the sportsmanship of his great-grandmother Ya Ya, the famous princess of the Asian Games.
